As a Detective and Detective Sergeant for a number of years Stacy gained extensive experience in criminal investigations. During his time in the Detective Bureau Stacy also served on the County Emergency Response Team and was a tactical team leader. Stacy has extensive experience as a project manager within the department helping to implement the department patrol rifle program, in-car video implementation and the department mobile data terminal implementation.
Once appointed Lieutenant Stacy held various commands in the organization- overseeing uniformed patrol, detective bureau, IT, communications, Records, fleet management, department budget, and Internal Affairs.
He received his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University 2009. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy- session #232 and a graduate of the West Point Command and Leadership School.
He is the 2015-2016 president of the Atlantic County Association of Chiefs of Police.
